Before We Begin
Payment Basics
Every commission is confirmed in writing before work begins. The agreed quote covers the project scope, timeline, deliverables, and payment schedule.
Deposit to Reserve
A required deposit reserves your place in M’s schedule and allows the project to begin. The deposit amount is confirmed with your quote.
Final Payment
Final payment is due before original artwork, print files, or final digital files are delivered.
Refunds & Changes
Please read these guidelines before approving a quote. If something changes, reach out as soon as possible so M can help with the next best step.
Can I cancel before work starts?
Yes. If you cancel before work begins, any refund eligibility will be reviewed based on the agreed terms and any time already spent preparing your project.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are generally non-refundable once the project is booked because they reserve studio time and cover early planning, communication, and preparation.
What if I change my idea?
Small adjustments may be possible before work begins. Major changes to the subject, composition, size, or scope may require a revised quote and timeline.
What if I cancel mid-project?
If work has already started, payments for completed work and reserved time are not refundable. M will clearly communicate what has been completed.
What if I need more revisions?
Your quote will explain the included revision rules. Requests outside that scope may be available for an additional fee and timeline adjustment.
What if M must cancel?
If M cannot complete the commission, you will be contacted promptly. Any refund or next-step arrangement will be handled fairly based on the work completed and the agreed terms.
